Liam Wong is a versatile media maker with experience across various roles in film production, education, and marketing. Currently, he serves as an Assistant to the Producer/Director for the short film “Little Miss Sociopath,” where he manages editorial tasks and crafts promotional social media content. Simultaneously, he works as an English Auxiliary at CEIP Luis Bunuel, enhancing English instruction and organizing extracurricular activities like a film club.
Previously, Liam interned at Grey Matter Productions, where he provided script coverage and facilitated meetings. He also served as a Marketing Associate at the Exceptional Needs Network, raising awareness through creative social media posts. In 2023, he co-wrote, directed, and produced a 20-minute film titled “A Petal in the Greenhouse,” which is currently in post-production.
Liam’s marketing experience extends to roles at Joinable, Inc., and 1430 Philanthropies, where he contributed to social media strategies and event planning. He also worked as a delivery driver for DoorDash, honing his customer service skills.
Liam holds a degree in Media, Film, and Television Digital Production from Indiana University, with a minor in Informatics, and has studied abroad in Florence, Italy. He has volunteered with organizations such as Angeli Del Bello and Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos and has been actively involved in Sigma Pi Fraternity and the Student Cinema Guild. His skills include proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Python, HTML/CSS, Canva, and various screenwriting software.
I have to say that the quality of the talent pool here is pretty amazing. Liam is a film major graduated from the University of Indiana. From day one he has brought a ton of experience and vision for this role as a Creative for the company. He has great insights and has a natural instinct for what to do with the camera and how to thread the editing to make each video better than we imagined.
