CoGo City is a technology platform that connects students, parents, neighbors, businesses, and other users for educational, entrepreneurial, volunteer, and work-related opportunities. CoGo City does not employ, supervise, direct, control, or manage users or the services they provide.

CoGo City is not an employer, staffing agency, contractor, or agent of any student, parent, neighbor, business, or other user of the platform. Any project, service, transaction, employment opportunity, communication, or interaction arranged through the platform is solely between the participating users.

Users are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability, legality, safety, qualifications, and appropriateness of any interaction, project, job, service, or transaction arranged through the platform.

CoGo City does not guarantee:

• the conduct, identity, honesty, qualifications, licensing, or safety of any user;
• the quality, legality, or safety of any project or service;
• that any opportunity complies with applicable employment or labor laws; or
• the outcome of any interaction between users.

Youth Employment & Safety Disclaimer

Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, and federal laws relating to youth employment, independent contracting, permits, taxes, workplace safety, parental consent, wages, and work-hour restrictions.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to actively supervise minors using the platform and to independently evaluate opportunities and interactions.

CoGo City shall not be responsible or liable for any injury, loss, damage, dispute, accident, misconduct, negligence, criminal activity, harassment, or other incident arising out of or relating to interactions or projects between users, whether online or in person.

Payments Disclaimer

Payments on the platform may be processed through third-party providers such as Stripe. CoGo City is not a bank, money transmitter, escrow company, or financial institution.

Processing times, payouts, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, holds, and payment availability are subject to third-party provider policies and procedures.

Background Checks & Verification Disclaimer

CoGo City may offer optional identity verification, background checks, ratings, reviews, or other trust and safety features. However, no screening or verification process can guarantee user safety or prevent all risks.

Users are solely responsible for exercising caution and judgment when interacting with others through the platform.

Children’s Privacy

CoGo City is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent, in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”).

If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without appropriate parental consent, we will take reasonable steps to delete such information.

Third-Party Sites

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through cogocity.com and related CoGo City services. It does not apply to third-party websites, payment providers, social networks, or external services linked from our platform.
