Overview

The SeaNet Vision is seeking a motivated and organized student intern to support administrative tasks, event coordination, media outreach, and social media activities related to the launch of an upcoming climate-focused book and related initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience in business operations, marketing, events, and climate innovation.

Key responsibilities

  • Office & Administrative Support: Organize business receipts and basic records; assist with designing and coordinating business cards and materials; set up and manage various technology tools.

  • Book Launch & Event Support: Help build and manage invitation lists; send event emails, track RSVPs, and send reminder emails; assist with planning and coordinating book launches and signing events; help coordinate dates and logistics with local bookstores, libraries, and businesses; support outreach to community venues and event hosts.

  • Media, Speaking & Outreach Support: Assist with organizing outreach to media outlets, conferences, podcasts, and local schools; help track speaking and interview opportunities.

  • Marketing, PR & Digital Support: Help create, organize, and promote content for the SeaNet Vision; assist with maintaining websites and social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook).
